Bordering on ChaosWritten and produced by Lucy C Hayward
Directed by Katherine Wooton and Lucy C Hayward Supported by TLC and Julia Thomas through Shape Arts Free Reads One night everything changes, the culmination of six months in which it isn't clear who has really been in control. It’s a damp and cold evening and Mags and Karla are stuck in the taxi office, waiting for Karla to be picked up. They have each tried to process a significant loss in different ways, but it doesn't seem to have helped. As the evening wears on the bonds between them fall apart and as Gemma arrives they realise there's no point turning back. You can suck up your pain but there’s always a breaking point. Bordering on Chaos explores the different ways in which people deal with grief. Some reach out for medical support, some self-diagnose and others are put on a route but don't understand how it is meant to benefit them.
